Christmas at the Palace!

The Palace Theater is proud to announce a Special Christmas Music Concert and Fundraiser to be presented by our friends, The Puna Men’s Chorus, on Sunday, December 20 at 5:30pm

Our first ever Christmas Concert will feature Walter Greenwood playing our beautiful pipe organ.   Voices in harmony and the thrill of the organ sound blend perfectly and engender the holiday spirit. “Our organ is so popular that we thought it was time to feature it on its own” said Executive Director Morgen Bahurinsky.  “There will be a segment of just organ music followed by the chorus before they join together.  The grand finale will be a short sing-along of well-known Christmas favorites,” Bahurinsky concluded.

The Puna Mens’ Chorus was founded in 2008 as a non-profit organization grounded in Puna with a mission of carrying a message of harmony and diversity to our local community. From the original chorus leader, Daron Scarborough to the present leader, Devon Lerma, The PMC spreads the joy of music at outreaches and well-rehearsed shows.  PMC’s shows have ranged from ABBA to Country, from Broadway to the Holidays; the PMC always puts on at least one show per year for its enthusiastic following.  Seven years in and still going strong, the Puna Mens’ Chorus is donating their time and talent in support of the Palace Theater.  Please show your support of both the theater and the chorus by attending this unique holiday concert.

The concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 20th at 5:30pm. This will be fun for the whole family.  Come join us and get that wonderful Christmas feeling.  Tickets are on sale now for only $10 general admission.  Reserve seats are $15 and $18 in advance.  All tickets will be $5 more the day of show.
