The production’s original script tells the story of Alice (Lacey Ray), a modern-day teenager, who has not yet found herself nor her purpose in life. This manifests itself in her lack of appreciation for and strained relationship with her family. On Christmas Eve, after being forced to go to church, Alice sneaks out and somehow gets sucked into a world called Wonderland. There she encounters many interesting characters such as the Cheshire Cat (Cedar Mantree), the Mad Hatter (Dakota Hill), Rabbit (Martha Derr), Dodo (Zarah Paresa), Mouse (Chan Cancino), Cat-a-Pillar (Sam Patterson), Gecko (Kealoha Kalama), and The Dawg (Micah Polloi) who all play a role in helping her find both herself and her way back home. Along the way, she runs across other characters that distract her or even antagonize her such as the Queen of Hearts (Tatianna Vares-Kanaele) and her army, Twiddle Dee (Sam Patterson) and Twiddle Dum (Maluhia Woods), and the Flowers. However, her greatest battle is with the Jabberwocky Dragon (Maika Woods). Alice eventually helps to unite Wonderland to defeat the Jabberwocky and is able to return home just in time for Christmas, to her family which she no longer takes for granted.
