Central Theatre Arts Academy at Mililani High School is proud to announce its first musical production of 2020 with Once On This Island , book by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. Set in the French Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea, Once On This Island tells the story of a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world,
and ready to risk it all for love.

The production’s cast, crew, and pit orchestra include 80 students in ages ranging from 8 to 18 years old from Hawaii public schools. Several students will also travel to the Big Island to perform at the historic Palace Theater in Hilo. The Big Island tour will include a free performance for local schools and two public performances on Saturday February 22.
