Los Angeles litigator Jane is depressed. Searching for clarity, she makes a spontaneous trip to the Big Island of Hawaii to visit an active volcano. Upon arrival, Jane enlists the help of Dusty and Po, two locals pretending to run an adventure tour company. As the trio drive across the island en route to the volcano, an unexpected detour takes the group in a new direction as the story explores love, loss, and lava.
“STOKE, like Hawaii Island, is a little weird, but also life-affirming, especially for three lost souls who are trying to figure out what their next life moves will be. Sometimes it takes the mana of the land to steer you into the right path.” Anderson Le HIFF PROGRAMMER
