The Makaha Sons live in concert at the Hilo Palace Theather

The legendary group usher in the return of Live music to the Hilo Palace Theater with a one night concert event. Tickets available now.

For over 40 years, The Mākaha Sons have committed themselves to perpetuating traditional Hawaiian music throughout Hawai‘i and around the globe.

Today, they are considered to be one of Hawai‘i’s premiere Hawaiian musical groups. They continue to perpetuate that vibrant sound, full and rich, with harmonies that only they can create. Their incomparable vocal arrangements and delightful stage presence is filled with comical antics which have won the hearts of thousands of fans worldwide.

The Mākaha Sons were the last group to perform on the Palace stage prior to the March 2020 pandemic shutdown, and it is an immense honor to welcome them back to usher in the return of live concerts to the historic theater.
