ABOUT THE SHOW:
A soft Soul is briefly embraced by the warmth of the Sun, igniting a spark of great desire. Wishing to keep the Sun for herself, Soul offers the sun her heart. Upon hearing this declaration, Soul is approached by two Shadows who promise to help her keep the Sun in exchange for her heart. In a thoughtless act of desperation, Soul agrees, only to find the Sun and Shadows have disappeared and the frost of Winter has surrounded her. Alone in the dark, a single blade of hope emerges when Soul encounters the Crones of the Forest, and embarks on a journey to reclaim her heart. Just in time for the longest day of the year, Ritual is a feature-length aerial cirque show celebrating the magnetism of the sun and the power of personal redemption.
Ritual is an Aerial Arts Hawai’i and Hobo Circus production. Due to darker themes of obsession and desire as well as occasional sensual self expression, this show should be considered PG-13.
