Live Concert, vendors, workshops | All Ages Welcome

Join us for an evening of music, culture, and community in support of Hawaiʻi’s native forests.

Pūʻā Foundation, with a focus on the Punahoa Heritage Forest, invites you to the Seeds of Hope Benefit Concert on Saturday, June 13 at the historic Hilo Palace Theater. This special event brings together a collective of local artists and cultural practitioners to uplift and support ongoing efforts to restore and care for our native ecosystems, with a focus on the health and resilience of ʻōhiʻa lehua.

The evening will begin with an educational and community-focused pre-event gathering from 4:30–5:30pm, featuring local organizations, cultural practitioners, and vendors who are actively engaged in mālama ʻāina work across Hawaiʻi Island.
The concert program will follow, featuring performances by Unulau, Unuokeahi, and Akaunu, and will close with a special performance by Kekuhi Kealiʻikanakaʻole.

All proceeds from this event will directly support Pūʻā Foundation and the continued restoration and stewardship of Punahoa Heritage Forest in Hilo.

Come spend an evening connecting through music, learning from community partners, and supporting the ongoing work of caring for our ʻāina.
