Calling all Talent!
The Palace Theater is looking for incredible local talent to show off your skills as part of the second annual family friendly variety show competition “A Night of Island Stars.”
Final contestants will perform as part of a full length variety show on Saturday, June 1st. The winner will be selected by a panel of 3 mystery judges, live on the night of the show and awarded the grand prize of $1,000. FIND OUT MORE>>

Synopsis: On an island where crime and poverty prevail, JahRun and Ifajah set up shop selling their gear and mixes, but when villains steal Ifajah’s turntables, things start to turn crazy. Pō & the 4Fathers is a unique musical experience that delivers a lyrical message that is powerful and clear with a modern Kanaka Maoli perspective. The band is deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture, Polynesian rhythms, and indigenous sounds, as well as the music that has moved generations like reggae, soul, blues, funk, and hip hop. Nā Palapalai, the sweethearts of Hawaiian music return to the Historic Palace Theater featuring hula performances by Hilo’s own, Hālau a Keahilapalapa under the direction of Kumu Hula Naoho Kanahele. Kick off pre-Merrie Monarch festivities with this special night of Hula and Hawaiian music. Come early and shop at the show.
