January 7th - January 10th, we’ll be showing the highly anticipated and critically acclaimed “The Wind and the Reckoning” directed by David Cunningham and Starring Lindsay Watson, Jason Scott Lee, Henry Ian Cusick and Jonathan Schaech

The Hawaiian Kingdom has been overthrown by a Western power just as an outbreak of leprosy engulfs the tropical paradise. The new government orders all Native Hawaiians suspected of having the foreign disease banished permanently to a remote colony on the island of Moloka’i that is known as the ‘island of the living grave.’ When a local cowboy named Ko’olau and his young son Kalei contract the dreaded disease, they refuse to allow their family to be separated, sparking an armed clash with brutal white island authorities that will make Ko’olau and his wife, Pi’ilani heroes for the ages. Based on real-life historical events as told through the memoirs of Pi’ilani herself.

We’ll be showing the 2022 Drama “TÁR” directed by Tod Field & starring Cate Blanchett from Dec. 26 - Dec. 30

Todd Field depicts the story of Lydia Tár, the groundbreaking, first-ever female music director of a major German Orchestra, who is widely considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors. We’re introduced to Tár at the height of her career as she’s preparing the much-anticipated live performance of Mahler’s Fifth Symphony, but her life begins to unravel. The result is a searing examination of power, and it’s impact and durability in todays society.

On Friday, December 23rd, we’re having a one night only showing of the comedy horror, holiday favorite “GREMLINS” 😈🎄- directed by Joe Dante & Starring Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates and Hoyt Axton

A gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the “mogwai” but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that decide to tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

Movie starts at 7pm, doors open at 6:30pm. Film is rated PG
