5:00pm MR ODYSSEUS synopsis: Telling the entire story of Homer’s “Iliad and Odyssey”, the musical spoof, Mr. Odysseus, written and directed by local artist/musician Maj Balej, was created in the style of Dada Theater. The show is an absurd and colorful musical interpretation of the classic Greek epic.

7:00pm WITH COSMIC SPACE FOR ETERNITY synopsis: Originally performed live at the Palace Theater in Hilo, With Cosmic Space for Eternity!  is a musical romp starring local musicians and actors. The story begins when four aliens show up in a Bavarian beer garden, in the Alps. The Cast of characters including a Waitress, a Drunk, a Paparazzi, an Alchemist, an Enchantress, a Hermit and a Celestial Fairy will keep theater goers laughing and tapping their toes until the end. The adventure continues as the aliens teleport to a coffee shop in Amsterdam, encounter civilization, and fall in love! Popping up everywhere to serve drinks is a truly amusing waitress, who sings titles such as Universe of Holes, My Beloved Left Me and Heart Chakra. Other song titles include Civilization, Our Hair Turned Grey, The Art of Hanging Out, UFO and Love is the Uncertainty.
