Synopsis: Mermaids’ Lament is about two women: Oee (Dayva Summer Escobar) who suffered an incredible trauma that left her mute and she may or may not be a mermaid. Her therapist, Dr. Nell Jamison (Justina Mattos) battles with anxiety herself, attempts to help Oee overcome her perceived delusions and connect with her reality.
