Center Stage Winter Showcase – Keiki Show

Center Stage Dance Alliance presents their annual Winter Showcase & Fundraiser. On Saturday, they will showcase their little keiki classes at 3pm, followed by fundraiser festivities in the Palace lobby at 3:30-5pm, including a silent auction, bake sale, live music, and other fun activities for keiki. At 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday, there will be dance performances featuring all the other classes, showcasing styles in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and breakdancing. Her boss can’t fathom why she won’t take a promotion, her lack of ambition dissuades potential love interests, and her parents push her to sell her estate since she has no interest in starting a family. These pressures leave Misha isolated and sick of justifying her choices. When an earnest 18-year-old mistakes Misha for a fellow student, she finds solace in his lack of expectation and begins a relationship with him.  But as their relationship grows, so does Misha’s reckless behavior. The Palace Theater is proud to present Justin Kawika Young live in concert for an intimate performance. Ticket sales support the on going mission of the Friends of the Palace Theater to restore, revitalize and sustain the historic Palace Theater as a venue that will educate, entertain and inspire our culturally diverse community. Born and raised in Hawai’i, Justin Kawika Young first found success in his island home. He accumulated eleven number-one hits on Hawai’i radio before relocating to Los Angeles.
