Auditions for this summer’s HEART Musical Production of CHICAGO are held at the Palace Theater on 3/19 + 3/20.
The Palace Theater is proud to be hosting Hilo Education Arts Repertory Theatre (HEART)’s production of CHICAGO, opening on June 28th for a three weekend run.
Auditions will be held at the Palace Theater on
Tuesday March 19th 6:00-9:00pm,
Wednesday March 20th 6:00-9:00pm,
with Callbacks on Thursday, March 21st 6:00-9:00pm.
Doors will open at 6pm, please enter through the front lobby doors.

Please prepare one minute of a musical theatre song that shows off your voice. Please bring a karaoke track cued up. Absolutely NO acapella. A pianist will not be present. Absolutely NO contemporary/pop/rock songs – we would like to hear musical theatre songs/showtunes or songs in the style of the show ONLY.
Dance auditions will follow the singing – so be prepared to dance. Please wear (or bring) comfortable clothes. All female identifying actors, please wear heels or character shoes. A 24 to 36 count combination will be taught.
We will only be reading from the script at callbacks on Thursday. No scene-work will happen Tuesday or Wednesday.
