Empty Palace is a 2022 NĀ HŌKŪ finalist!

LIVE FROM THE EMPTY PALACE 2021 Compilation Album is a finalist for the 2022 NĀ HŌKŪ HANOHANO AWARDS!

This recognition is an incredible honor for the theater, the participating artists, and our wonderful team of producers making it all happen: Phillips Payson, Zoe Eisenberg, Drew Daniels, and Pepe Romero.

What started as a small video project in response to the restrictions during the pandemic has grown into something so incredible and meaningful. The series is a platform that has enabled so many creative connections and a joyful outlet in a time filled with so much uncertainty. It has been a true honor to collaborate with every participating artist, technician and crew member to bring this series to life.

“Live from the Empty Palace” can be enjoyed Wednesday nights at 7:30pm on PBS Hawai’i. The 2021 and 2020 compilation albums are available now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all music streaming platforms.

Artists featured on the 2021 compilation album are Kainani Kahaunaele, Kris Fuchigami, Isaiah Mostafa, Nick Wong, Lo Wolf, Wendell Ing, Honey Jar, Kawohi Kamaka, Aguamelon, Rob Taylor and the Re/written Story, Lightning Larry Dupio, Kailee Spark, Diego Gutierrez, and Markus Mars.
