HILO THEN AND NOW

Film program exploring the arts and culture of downtown Hilo through the lens of the historic Palace theater’s legacy. Featuring Once Upon a Palace, Hawai’i Tourism Board’s archival Big Island promo film, Na Leo TV’s Palace Centennial spotlight documentary, & “Twisted Braid“, a short doc produced by Temple Children highlight Hilo’s contemporary art community.

HILO HULA TUESDAYS

Hilo Hula Tuesday is a free live cultural program brought to you by Destination Hilo, with the kūpuna of Haunani’s Aloha Expression. Stop by the historic Palace Theater for live music, hula and lei making.

HISTORIC FILMS OF OLD HAWAI’I

Hang out in the lobby during our free film programs – A variety of puzzles provided! Table top games of all kinds welcome. Complete a puzzle within the day & receive a free movie pass (solo or in a group)!
